Restoration of vital old records

In 2015 Voters approved the following:
 
  • Chestnut Hill Bond

In 2014 Voters approved the following:
 
  • Renovation of the Southborough Fire and Police Memorial
  • Chestnut Hill Bond

In 2013 Voters approved the following:
 
  • Historical Restoration of the Southborough Library's walkway
  • Chestnut Hill Bond
  • Set-asides to Open Space, Historic Preservation, Community Housing, Administrative Costs, Discretionary Fund
 

In 2010 Voters approved the following:
 
  • Affordable Housing
  • Chestnut Hill bond
  • Continuing improvements to the Cordaville Triangle park
  • Stoney Brook Museum seed money
  • Set asides for historic preservation, open space, community housing, descretionary fund, administration costs.
 

 
In 2009 Voters approved the following:
  • phase III of preservation and microfilming of historic town records.
  • monies awarded to the Southborough Historical Society to hire a curator to save historic artifacts.
  • provide funding toward the Southborough Affordable Housing Trust.
  • South Union School continuing historical repairs and windows.
  • pay the yearly portion of the Chestnut Hill Farm payment on the bond.
  • Set asides for historic preservation, open space, community housing, descretionary fund, administration costs.
  • Assess local properties for potential recreational use.

In 2008 the CPC and the Town of Southborough approved the following projects.

  • Funding for affordable housing through the Housing Trust.
  • Application fees for the South Union School to be placed on the National  Register of Historic Places.
  • Restoration of the South Union School.
  • fund phase II of the Southborough Town Clerk's record restoration project.
  • to fund the Stony Brook Museum for preconstruction costs.
  • Public park improvements at the "triangle" intersection of River Street, Southville and Cordaville Roads.
  • fund the CPC Open space reserve fund portion of the Chestnut Hill Bond.
  • Set asides for historic preservation, open space, community housing, descretionary fund, administration costs. 

    In 2007 the CPC and the Town of Southborough approved the following projects:

    • Monies set aside for Affordable housing projects.
    • Southborough Historical Society Oral History Project.
    • Microfilming and preservation of historic and important documents at the Southborough Town Clerk's office.
    • Funding for restoration of the All Wars Monument.
    • Funding for the restoration of the Flagg School/Southborough Historical Society Museum.
    • Open Space monies for payments for Chestnut Hill Farm Open Space.
    • Set asides for historic preservation, open space, community housing, descretionary fund, administration costs.

    In 2006 the CPC and the Town of Southborough approved the following projects

    • $10,274 to preserve Historic documents.
    • $30,000 to help restore the Breakneck Hill Conservation Land.
    • $99,976 to help build an affordable house on Gilmore Road.
    • CPA funds used to help Southborough purchase conservation restriction on Chestnut Hill Farm.
    • Set asides for historic preservation, open space, community housing, descretionary fund, administration costs.
